Checked the connection status on my Bolt this morning and noticed it was Pending Restart.
After restart the software was upgraded to 20.7.4d.RC8.
My Roamio Plus was also upgraded to 20.7.4d.RC8 this morning.
Haven't noticed any changes, as of yet, but hopefully they finally addressed some of the standby issues.

Great, thanks for the update! I'm trying to update my Roamio in hopes it fixes my inability to pair my cable card, but I can't get the new software to download even though I keep manually doing a Tivo service connection. Any tips?

It makes me question how much was updated:

Whatever they did, they most likely merged an updated branch of code. Maybe something that they had fixed 3 years ago.

Yeah, I was imagining that too - someone was cleaning up old Git repositories and found something ancient that nobody ever bothered to merge and build/push.

TBA/"missing" data fixes, if we're lucky, but TNA is from the guide call loaded data (or, lack of data) and not the OS itself, I think.

It's not changing the older UI to that newer one, is it? I have original issue Bolts and I just looked to find that at least one of mine is 'pending restart'. I just worry that they are forcing the newer one in which I have no interest.

Got it. Wish they had some sort of info that says what has changed. TE3 updates in recent past have actually broke things, not made anything better. Hope this is a fixer, not another breaker.

Someone may correct me, but I believe that the rest of the numbers have something to do with which Tivo model the software is installed on. Those numbers most likely don't change from version to version.

Got it on my 546 (Roamio Basic 4 tuner). I checked connection status prompted by this thread. I wonder how long it would have stayed at “pending restart” if I had not manually restarted it?

My living room Bolt updated overnight. My bdrm Bolt updated today.

I also don't see what has changed. I wish they work on the damnable guide data problems! It gets old having the wrong info - new episodes not shown as new, so they don't record. reruns just shown generically so it wants to record them. One thing that really bugs me is that, since the guide data is frequently screwed up, shows that should have 'skip' often don't. Yeah, I'm spoiled.
