My Tivo powers up and goes to initial station tuned in. However, when I change the station my TV screen goes black forcing me to reboot the unit. This is great if I only want to watch one station.

BTW so far I have no problem streaming Netflix etc.

Any suggestions?

Anything look bad in Diagnostics? Each tuner has an entry, so after a restart all four should be identical. BTW, direct entry of the channel number fails, guide fails, etc.?

What normally happens when changing channels is, the screen does blank for a second or so. It may also take a little longer if you are set to various resolutions and the TV has to adjust to them. If the TV does not support the resolution, it would stay black.

This is what I think might be happening.... If you could go to Settings... Video settings, and test each resolution and rule this out.

May want to look into the FCC Repack. Perhaps your TV station channels/frequencies have changed, and your TiVo guide hasn't kept-up.
