I have had my TiVo Roamio OTA and two Tivo Minis for quite a while now. My displays are Samsung. At least some of them have Anynet+, which appears to be HDMI-CEC. Frankly, I have never paid much attention to it.
Anyway, before I go "too deep down the rabbit hole" researching this, will the Tivo Roamio OTA and TiVo Minis support it, directly, or would I have to find some sort of "work around"?
I guess I am also looking for sort of a bottom line on this. Is all of this so I can use one, or at least fewer, remote controls? My wife and I actually sort of like the TiVo "peanut" remote controls, so would there even be much value to using Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC)?
