So I got a 80 hour TiVo brand recorder. It restarts all the time. It is only a few weeks old. After every time it gets done recording a program it restarts. And sometimes when I am going through the menus it restarts. Should I send it back? I only hesistate because i ordered a 40 hour and they sent me an 80 hour by mistake. What should I do...

Where did you buy it ?

If it was from a local store, bring it right back to get a brand new one.

If you bought it brand new or refurbished from TiVo, I'd call TiVo and explain to them you don't buy junk, and that you want a replacement sent out. Whether it was purchased brand new from TiVo, or if you purchased a refurb from TiVo, they'll send you a refurb as a replacement, not a brand new one.
