Hello,

Have been trying to get the TIVO remote to control the volume. I have had no problem with anything else.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The AV receiver is probably a year old. The remote came with a the $299 HD (Series 3?) Tivo.

Any help is helpful.

See if you can change the codeset that your Audio receiver responds to, from AV2 to AV1. Since the only codes preset into the tivo remote are for sony receivers using the av1 codeset. See this thread or your son manual:
