I have a TIVO Premiere with an upgraded hard drive that is old, but should still work. I use it OTA only and it won't boot past the "Almost there... Just a few minutes more."

I have tried using the kickstarter codes of 54 (never took me to a different screen) and 57 (same deal).

It seems to go into a "low power" mode of some type and stops spinning the HD. The fan is also reduced drastically. What is my next step to take?

NOTE: I work in IT and am not afraid to open this. I also believe I still have the original HD for this.

Well, that sucks. After a long while (a couple hours), all lights on the front started flashing. Pretty sure it's toast. Will try running some HD tests on it and putting the original drive in it.

There is an off chance it is the power supply, bot getting enough juice to the drive. But, the premiere drives are not known for failing (unlike s3 boxes). I would plug in the old drive and see what happens.
