I have a creative widescreen and was happy to cough up the extra $25 for the convenience. Well, turns out the formats the Tivo Plus offers to convert to are not compatible with a Creative Vision product. Is that the case or am I missing something?

No real support for Creative formats??!!

Ps. I dont like using a 3rd party converter, so please dont offer it. Im lookng for convenience and not something time consuming. Thanks.

The Creative Zen Vision: W is a windows media device. You did not not need to buy Plus for TiVo Desktop to support it. You sync video to your Zen using Windows Medial Player 11. It works well on my wife's Zen Vision: M and I am confident the W will be the same. First tell TiVo Desktop to add TiVo files to your Windows Media library when it transfers them from the Tivo. then simply drag the TiVo file over to the right hand sync list in WMP while the Zen is attached, then press the sync button.

Other things you can do with Desktop Plus are play internet and web videos, and convert for iPods and PSPs. It will take xvid and divx AVI files and play them on the TiVo for you, which is pretty handy.

Good luck,
