Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me with my issue I have been having with my Tivo so here goes....

About 2 months ago I decided to upgrade my cable tv boxes in my apartment from basic Motorola/Arris cable boxes to the Tivo DCX900 for the living room and Tivo Mini IP900 in master bedroom as my cable provider give me a good deal on my cable/internet package with them to upgrade to Tivo and my internet speed.

I used to never have any issues with my old cable boxes other then they was dated and basic, but they did the job and picture was great always.

Fast forward to install date for the Tivo, tech guy came out, installed both the Tivo DCX900 and Mini, and also replaced my Arris DG3270 modem with a Hitron CODA 4582 modem, and installed a MoCA POE Filter on the main cable into the apartment.

Everything work fine for a few days but then the Mini in the master bedroom stopped working, I try unplugging everything but that did not fix the issue so ended up calling my cable provider who send out a tech guy a few days later, he could not get the Mini to work so replaced the Mini with another one and also replaced the splitters with new MoCA splitters and the Coaxial Cable for both boxes and modem.

Everything has been working good for me with the MoCA network since other then one issue I been having with the picture quality where it will often pixelate when watching tv, this issue is on both boxes and will happen each 3-5 mins and only last for a few secs.

I have tested the signal strength and it reads 100% on the Tivo and signal quality is 42-43 dB also on the Tivo.

All rooms in my apartment are wired for coaxial and ethernet, I try using the mini with ethernet but it did not make any diffident for me

I have inc a photo of issue and was wondering if anyone has any idea what is going on and how to fix it.

Thanks

I had no idea the signal could get to hot for the tivo, so I need something like this https://www.amazon.ca/10-DB-Attenua...ywords=Attenuator&qid=1603814610&sr=8-20&th=1 ? also would i need one for just the main tivo in living room or also one for the mini in the bedroom too? Thanks
Yes I got an assortment on 10,20 and 30 db to pick from.. I don't use MoCo so I don't know how that would effect it if you use it.. but it won't hurt trying you can always return Amazon!
