TiVO mobile (and other Verizon Wireless GetItNow applications, as well as the Mobile Web browser) bills airtime minutes for its data connection, not KB. Do you have V-Cast? If so, then this counts as a data plan and the TiVo mobile airtime is free. Otherwise, TiVo Mobile minutes will be billed like non-IN voice calls, but will be free during offpeak or weekend as applicable. A little connection icon shows at the top of the phone to indicate that it is in a call. You are not in a call the whole time the application is up, just when it needs to get info from its server.
