Here is a quick little post. I have tivo mobile on my verizon phone. I pay 2 bucks a month for it and dont have a data plan.

#1. Am i at risk for getting a huge bill (i use it on a day to day basis to browse whats on while im out or have a minute) so its fair to say i use it a lot, is it possible im getting charged for each killobyte i havent gotten my first bill yet

#2. Does anybody know if tivo mobile can support the recording of hd channels. I seem not to be able to do this. I dont know if i can even record channels over 100.

TiVO mobile (and other Verizon Wireless GetItNow applications, as well as the Mobile Web browser) bills airtime minutes for its data connection, not KB. Do you have V-Cast? If so, then this counts as a data plan and the TiVo mobile airtime is free. Otherwise, TiVo Mobile minutes will be billed like non-IN voice calls, but will be free during offpeak or weekend as applicable. I suggest that you dial #646 (#MIN) to see what your current minute usage is looking like (no airtime or message charge for this call).

A little connection icon shows at the top of the phone to indicate that it is in a call. You are not in a call the whole time the application is up, just when it needs to get info from its server.
