Any TiVo device is a pretty bad streamer compared to those listed by ThAbt0. The only thing the TiVo Mini is good at--and was specifically designed to do--is function as a client device to a TiVo DVR box. THAT'S IT! IMHO. To me, a Mini without the TiVo DVR is USELESS!

BUT a mini linked to a TiVo is pretty amazing.
If used for TV and recordings I would totally agree. For streaming, not so much. I have a TCDA93000 that works great, except for streaming. When I'm on Prime for over 15 to 20 minutes it starts acting up. Starts with slow response to remote commands, then stutters and finally freezes up. I'm on a solid ethernet connection, so I shouldn't have this problem. I am expecting delivery of a TCDA95000 on Wednesday and will see how that unit performs compared to the 93. According to quite a few people on TCF once they upgraded the streaming issues disappeared. From what I've read on this forum the older 93/92 series have a memory leak issue. I guess I'll find out in a few days. I also would like to add I have a Roku Ultra hooked up to the same switch that works flawlessly, and could be used for all my streaming needs. I just find it more convenient to be able to use the same remote and want to experiment with VOX. If this works as well as I hope it does, I will purchase a VOX remotes for my 2 Bolts.
