I just update my Tivo Mini and one is stuck in a loop starting up. The other seems to be working fine. Not sure what happened. Calling Tivo tomorrow to get a replacement. Just beware you might find a dead device.

Well I was lucky enough that it made it to the menu. So I thought I would restart the box and see what happens. Well it then started going through restart after restart. So I just left it alone and after an hour it was back on the menu again. This time I decided to reset the mini back to defaults. This fixed all my issues and it also allowed me to get my Lux remote to pair. Prior to this the mini vox wouldn't pair with the remote. Hopefully this will help out someone that runs into the same issue I did. The key was just to let it keep restarting itself and hopefully it will get back to the menu. Once it does restore it back to defaults then you should be okay.

So I decided to to do the same thing with my Edge today by resetting the settings back to default. This seemed to resolve many issues I was having with the box. This also resolved my issue with pairing the Lux remote to the Edge. So decided to go ahead and reset everything on my other mini. At some point some corruptions happened with the settings of these devices. Reset to Defaults seem to straighten it all out. It is a shame I lost all my recordings on the Edge by doing this. But to get my Lux remote to pair is well worth it and less frustrations having to point the remote directly to the Tivo Edge and Mini Vox.
