I have a TiVo Bolt Vox (cable) on the Hydra UI. I purchased a used TiVo Mini (Model TCDA92000) off eBay and was able to activate it, and it has the old UI software. But, once it boots up, it only works for about 30 seconds, until it starts acting up, then goes to a "Please Check Your Internet Connection" screen with the dog on it.

I found some posts stating that it could be an issue if the Mini has Hydra and the host TiVo has the old UI, but I have the opposite setup (and I wouldn't mind getting the Mini updated to Hydra). Any ideas on how I can get this thing working? Or did I just spend $70 on a paperweight I can't return cause eBay? Thanks!
