A month or two ago I noticed that when I turn on the tv with the mini the graphics below the menu bar will not load. It just shows the blue loading circled. Anything under the text bar will not load. Also the "what to watch" from the menu will not work anymore. Everything else works including graphics when viewing live tv and I press up, the guide has all the graphics load. For some reason its just the Home Screen graphics. Any one else have this issue and if so how did you fix it. thanks.

I already called customer service and did force connections, restart, and other things but to no avail.

I have tried to call support a few times. One time they just hung up on me and the other two they just did the reset the TiVo by reading from a script thing and said good luck and did nothing. I was planning on buying more TiVo minis but there is no way I am giving these clowns more of my money. They waisted all that money developing a underpowered clunky media stick rather than fix the hardware people paid a lot of money for along with the monthly service fee. Placing preroll ads on a service I'm paying for is insulting and this was the final straw. I am getting rid of my tivos and using a tablo and sling on my Apple TVs. Saves me money and now I will have hardware that gets updated without all the problems.

Are you on TE4 (with the bar of pictures at the bottom of the home screen) or TE3 (with the bar of pictures at the top)? I've seen this issue before on TE4 units, it generally indicates the box can't get a real-time Mind server connection. Usually happens when there's an issue with the networking, or early mornings when TiVo does server maintenance.

I am having a similar to your issue with my Vox mini via Ethernet that I can't figure out. All of the show thumbnails/images (in my shows and suggestions) have vanished and I'm left with generic images and plain text. Software TE3 with no connection issues that started around a month or two ago as well. Anyone experienced this and figured out a fix?

Those thumbnails are from a third party server. It was Akamai, but could be anyone now. It's a network problem. TE3 and TE4 both can have the issue. If you have Twitter, try @TiVoSupport. Calling them is a waste of time.

I hadn't used either of my minis for a couple months and when I turned one on last week, I had the same problem as the OP. It magically fixed itself up yesterday.
