I just noticed that my back-up Tivo HDLXL that I have running in another room was dead about a week ago. No lights on the front, and appears to be completely without power, so I'm guessing the power supply finally went on this Tivo. Is it worth replacing the Power Supply on this unit at this point since it has lifetime, or is money better spent upgrading to something newer?

If I want a new power supply, where is the best place to get one nowadays.

There are no new power supplies. Weaknees sells them but their price is least to be desired.

What you can do is to replace the capacitors. If you cannot do it, find an electronics repair place, Google 'Electronics repair' and include your location.
