Tivo HD with OTA HD +Cable

I was just wondering if there was way to use an OTA HD antenna with the Tivo HD and utilize the internal cablecards for the rest of the digtal channels.

I really only watch HD on one television and am sick of paying comcast so much money.

I could get my cable bill to around $50 a month if I were to drop the digital cable crap and go back to just analog cable.

If your setup is actually OTA & analog cable you do not need cable cards.

If you mean dropping back to analog cable and still getting the major networks in HD through cable then you would still need cable cards.

Good Luck,
So do you have to hook the antenna up to one input and cable up to the other therefore you can't record two antenna shows are once or two cable shows at once but rather just one show from each input? I don't suppose there is any way to merge the ATSC and cable onto one cable that you could split and plug into both inputs?

Yes antenna to the antenna input and cable to the cable input. But you can recorded either 2 OTA or 2 cable or 1 of each. The Series 3 or TiVo HD have internal splitters.

Thanks,
