Since Dec 2011, I have been experiencing extremely slow response from TIVO HD XL for anything, "Netflix"... All other Tivo menu items have immediate response. Netflix was super snappy until December. Since then, clicking on the Netflix folder means waiting several minutes for ANY refreshed menu queue to even appear !!!!!!! ..
I have deleted EVERYTHING on the Tivo that is not needed, still no performance improvement.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO TIVO HD/XL, DVR, TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE.. GOING TO ROKU/HULU IS THIS IS NOT RESOLVED SOON. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
Willing to wipe the HD clean and start over, but not convinced that will help..
Most everything Netflix is stored on their servers. That means you are utilizing the internet feed. If you are wireless, consider going to wired. If you are wired then check your router and internet connection speeds.
