TiVo HD loud popping when ff & rewind- NAD T775 Receiver & Def Tech BP7004 speakers

My TiVo HD is connected via HDMI to a NAD T775 receiver feeding Definitive Technology speakers (BP7004 towers, CLR 2300 center, and BP2X rear speakers). When I fast forward and rewind the TiVo, the speakers pop VERY loudly immediatly after hitting play (from RR & FF). I've replaced all HDMI cables and checked connections. Any advice will be appreciated. My BlueRay and DVD players are also connected to the same equipment although there is never any popping.
