I had mine whre it has froze and the remote would not work. And another time when the tivo had turned off (no signal going to the TV), and the green light kept blinking constantly...
Tivo HD lockup last night.
I came home from work hoping to watch jay leno. But my tivo was lockup. The screen
was white. And the remote didnt work. I Unpluged it and pluged it back in and its working fine now.

There's one channel in my lineup that will cause this behavior on my S3 (and others too):

It isn't a HUGE deal for me (at the moment) because I don't even have an HDTV yet, so I took that channel out of my lineup. Plus, we don't watch very many shows on CBS, so it won't be a huge issue if it isn't fixed by the time I actually get an HDTV.
