What do you mean by "it won't tune them"? What does it do? black screen?

When TWC just up the road from you removed Speed channel from the analog and made it digital, they offered the free use of a box for a few months to us analog customers. Didn't care about Speed, but got the box to play with, and it appears a lot of their digital channels are actually SDV, which means not only cable card but tuning adapter. Fellow Wilmingtonian WO312 can tell you all about how much fun they are. See the latter pages of this threadI have el cheapo basic cable (around 70 channels) and a cable card to properly get guide data for the HD local network channels.
Most of the channels are available on TiVo but some aren't.
Guide data is available for these, its just that TiVo won't tune them.
All of the TV's in the house can tune all the channels with thier built in tuners.
Is this just a mis-configured cable card on TWC's end?
Yeah just a black screen. What do you mean by "it won't tune them"? What does it do? black screen?

TWC in most areas of NC is virtual all SDV for their digital channels so if you try to tune a digital channel without a tuning adapter it may not tune. There's no such issue with analog channels though.Yeah just a black screen.
Seems kind of random as well.
ESPN is fine on the TVs and TiVo but not ESPN2, yet TLC comes in on both as well (same channel number).
Signal strength is the same for the channels that work vs those that are black.
