Tivo HD at Amazon

To get a price adjustment (within 30 days of purchase)

1. Visit: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/returns-and-refunds.html

2. Change the Subject dropdown menu to "Refund Inquiry" (last on the list).

3. Provide your order number (from your email receipt).

4. In the Comments box, write that the price of your item has dropped
within the last thirty days and that you would like a credit.
Specify the item number and the original price, and the current price
you saw on Amazon.com. (Verify by clicking the item link above.)

5. Click the "Send e-mail" button.

6. Wait for your credit! Amazon.com will review your request and then
send you an email and give you a credit!

I'm so psyched, I checked the price about 4 hours ago and it was $280. Whee money!

Okay, I bite. What does everyone else think it is? It's pretty clear to me.

I thought I was providing a link to the item, Tivo HD and a link to the customer service page at Amazon.

... Okay let's make it clearer.

Select your item, select Email, and then select Refund Inquiry from the dropdown

They seem to change the price on a random basis ... I don't know if it's based on market demand or what, but it's a little crazy. I've had two refunds processed in two days for the same order - this will be #3.

Also, I noticed that Vann's has dropped the price to $249.99. Can Amazon be far behind?

Thanks for the post...I just requested a refund of the price difference as well. I searched Amazon like crazy looking for a way to do this about a week ago. They certainly do not advertise a price guarantee within 30 days. I should be getting $25.51 back which is pretty cool. I hope it works.

Huge thumbs up to Amazon. They refunded me the $25 difference even though my 30-day guarantee expired on the 28th. Stuff like this is why they will continue to get my business. :up: :up:

One of my deal-secrets is refundplease.com. You can put in the item # on Amazon and the price you paid and they email you when the price dropped.

I used it tons during Christmas last year, and got about $100 back in January.
