I have just installed a new Tivo box having had probs with the original one.

I can only get BBC1 and the handset doesnt respond at all.

Any ideas folks?

What's a 'handset'? The Remote Control?

It's possibly in RF Mode, but not 'paired' to the TiVo.

Remote Setup is in Settings.

Or, you could switch it to I/R Mode by Pressing&Holding the TiVo Button and also Pressing&Holding the Red Button (not record) until the Remote flashes Red.

Try again; report back.
