I am trying to use TIVO Desktop Plus on my W8 laptop. I am going abroad and will have very limited access to the internet so it is best to take some content with me. When I try to pick recordings to transfer I get the message "There was an error when trying to retrieve data from the selected DVR. The system cannot find the file specified." I called TIVO support and we went through several uninstalls and reinstalls. We also restarted the network all to no avail. Has anybody had this problem and had a resolution?
