Does ANYONE have TIVO loaded with Windows 10. Ever since I switched from Win7 to Win10 I am unable to load TIVO on my desktop computer. I spoke with TIVO and get the runaround, I am at my wits end. I have 3,000 recorded show that when I go to watch them I get audio and a blue screen with a musical note on the front. I welcome any advice ,tid-bit or instruction....HELP!!!!!!

Tivo Desktop is no longer supported by Tivo so you will get no support if you call them. The alternative is PyTivo or PyTivo Desktop. KMTTG is another program for downloads shows only, but is has lots of extra features that Tivo Desktop does not.

Decrypt them
Its a feature that KMTTG runs to remove the encryption layer that Tivo applies. Making them into MPG from PS downloads, or .TS from TS downloads. TS downloads are needed when trying to download h.264 recordings.

Is this a new W10 PC or did you upgrade W7 to W10 on an existing PC? How did you download the TiVo shows to begin with?

First, I would install TiVo Desktop (be sure to install the updated certificates someone has provided in a thread here). Second, install the free MPEG-2 Video Extension from Microsoft in the Microsoft Store to restore being able to play MPEG2 videos.
