I'm sure nobody will be surprised, the Tivo Desktop doesn't work with the new Macs.

I got a new iMac today and no more photos & music.
You're right that I'm not surprised (it's been reported already here.)

That said, Galleon (http://galleon.tv) should work, since, unlike TiVo Desktop, it doesn't rely on JNI, just java itself. While it isn't as well-integrated as TiVo Desktop is with iTunes and iPhotos, and setup is a bit more involved, it (a) works and (b) comes with lots of other handy-dandy features.

Hadn't seen it. Wish I had, I wouldn't have bothered trying to reinstall Tivo Desktop trying to see if that would help.

Just downloaded it, but the setup looks like greek to me.
