Tivo Desktop issues

I'm having problems downloading from the tivo to the tivo desktop. It started about a month ago. I am running tivo desktop version 2.8.2 (412369) on windows 7. All of a sudden i started getting an error message saying "some transfers have been inturrupted". this is happening to anything i try and download. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the tivo desktop and it still happens.

Any help would be appreciated.

Open Tivo Desktop and go to the Tivo Server Properties.
Click the network tab.
What is selected as your discovery protocol?
If Bonjour is selected, try using Tivo Beacon instead (or vise-versa).

You may want to first cancel any pending and "in progress" transfers, and also clear the TD cache.

To clear the cache, open the Windows start menu and enter tivo desktop in the search window.
Open the Tivo Desktop folder -> open the cache folder.
Click organize -> select all.
Click organize -> delete.


Edit: Also could be a router problem. Have you recently replaced your router or changed any settings?

Reboot your Tivo and router.
