Tivo Desktop - Change Names Tivo Assigns to Files?

Is there any way to change the name of a program that shows up on the Tivo desktop? I've got some back to back recordings of Daily Show and Colbert Report (recorded as a single hour) that even when I edit with VideoReDo to break them apart, no matter what I name the resultant files, still show up in the "Daily Show" category. I checked the existing threads and didn't find an answer, and I tried the right click and that didn't make a difference, does anyone have any idea how, or if, I can do this?

I use KMTTG to download from mt Tivo and have the ability to setup the filenames so they do not overwrite one another.
I can set things such as:

title - episode number - episode title - date and time recorded

KMTTG..?
What you can do when you save your recordings from VideoReDo, is to save them as .mpg (MPEG Program Stream). This will allow you to change the name of the program and have it show up on the Tivo that way.

The only drawbacks are:
1) You lose the Tivo metadata and the shows will not group.
2) You get a Video Format Notice screen on the Tivo when you go to transfer them back. Select 'Yes, transfer video'. It's an extra step and is annoying, but it will still work.

Thank you, that did it. (As an aside, it also resolved the problem with not being able to use the "seek" button to FF through the program, but now Tivo Desktop plus won't let me convert for iPod, so I guess I'll have to save it twice -- once as each version -- when I want to do that as well.)
Just an FYI:

If you use Desktop to copy a show to a hard drive on a Windows computer you can rename the file to whatever you want to and as long as you leave the extension as .tivo, the TiVo will be able to see it and copy it back, but it will see it as what it originally was, not what you renamed it, so if you change "Glee" to "NCIS", it'll be "NCIS" in Windows file utility, Explorer*, but the TiVo will still see it as "Glee".

*Not to be confused with Internet Explorer
