My router page shows that my DVRs are connected to my network, but neither Tivo Desktop nor pyTivoDesktop finds them. Have tried everything in the Help for Desktop. Any suggestions on how to fix? Would there be a router setting that prevents this?
My Mini TTG is i,a,i,a. Guess I need to call support.(Unless its a Mini. a,i,a,i)
All else fails, call CS.
Tried the above. Still a problem.Confirm 2 things.... your Tivo(s) are listed correctly (service numbers) on your tivo.com account. Under DVR Preferences, checked on Sharing and Transfers. [If you just checked them now, and save... force Tivo service connections on all Tivo boxes. Make sure the Media Access key is listed the same as on account.]
What System Information are you referring to?In System Information: TivoToGo: should show all a's no i's (Unless its a Mini. a,i,a,i)

It is all a's. CS says they don't support this capability anymore. So I'm out of luck.Settings / help / system information and the line referred.
On my PC, Tivo Desktop does not find any DVRs. On my Mac, pyTivo does not find any DVRs, even if I turn off the firewall. All A's and you're good to go. But what isn't working?
You haven't posted that the two TiVo units can see each other and manually copy files from each other. The only way I know how to do that is with Tivo online, and I can see stuff on my Roamio, but the other one is too old and not compatible. You haven't posted that the two TiVo units can see each other and manually copy files from each other. Please test.
Success! I found a solution. To explain my configuration, i am running Windows 10 as a virtual machine on an iMac using Parallels. Apparently the problem is on the Mac side. pyTivo on the Mac side doesn't see any DVRs. Parallels doesn't come with a wireless adapter, so Windows goes through the Mac to wireless. With Windows running, I plugged in a USB Adapter to go true wireless on the Windows side. Tivo Desktop now sees the DVRs, but seems a little unstable showing some shows as "Data unavailable." pyTivo seems to work fine, at least on the first try.https:// {your Tivo IP address} /nowplaying/index.html
