Tivo Desktop 2.3 for Viiv exp.

okay so i desided to try out the tivo desktop 2.3 for Viiv
thinking it will be easy to run tivo desktop
being wmc is part of the os boy was i wrong

it took awhile to find where the tivo desktop 2.3 for viiv was
after finding it i opened it with no problems but then when trying to connect to tranfer it kept saying there was no DRV on the network

so i then check tivo desktop 2.5 for windows (vista) and it loads fine and i was able to view my now playing list ..

i also was able to show and access my pc and other drv on the network from inside the tivo menu..with no problems

so i really dont understand it ..

i think once its working it will toatally be a plus to run tivo desktop this way..

if anyone has ideas in how to get this to work please post them
and i will keep u guys updated on my Quest to make this work
