Does anyone have any experience ordering from the store associated with this forum?
Are they reliable? I am a bit nervous in light of the lack of a direct contact phone number.
I am posting this here because I am in the market for a TivoHD, and thought they looked reasonable.

I know what you mean. The lack of phone support left me a bit nervous when I ordered from them. In my experience however, they have been very responsive to email correspondence. Despite the lack of a phone number, I had a very positive sale experience with them.

I ordered my 2nd Tivo S3 (during the Father's Day $200 mail in rebate period) from them. It was nice to have free shipping and no taxes charged and I received my unit (shipped ground from FL to CA) in a timely manner, and if I remember correctly I was able to use Paypal for payment so didn't need to disclose my credit card # to them. My only complaint is that they do not automatically send you tracking information once the unit is shipped - you have to email them and specifically ask for tracking info. At least that was the case when I ordered. Aside from that no complaints.

Update:

I decided to cancel my order from them, having placed it on line last night. I am waiting to see what Time Warner does with M-Cards before making the comittment to TivoHD units.

Although their web site states that there is a 15% resocking fee, they refunded my card, no question. Mind you, I emailed them first thing in the morning, within hours of placing the order. None-the-less they could have made it difficult for me.

They responded within hours, and the whole thing was complete by mid-day.

I would order from them again, and will, when I make the leap to HD.

I ordered from Tivo Community store. Well, actually my wife did for me. Unit arrived within a week. They had to credit the $20 voucher after the fact, which the site said was valid at the time but when added to the cart said it expired. No problems with receiving the credit, and the unit arrived promptly.
