So, after years owning a Bolt and now a Bolt+, I have to express my frustrations at having zero ability to fix this error.
Equipment
Tivo Bolt+ (6 TUNERS) DVR
Software Version: 21.9.2.v4-USC-11-849
TiVo minis for other rooms
Situation
Attempted to watch Live TV from another room. Received error V88 and a blurb about how the Bolt is performing an operation using all tuners.
* To Do List only has 3 recordings recording
Attempted Resolution
Contacted support for assistance. Support told me to release tuners... even though I told them I tried that already.... and they closed the ticket without allowing a response........
The software has problems managing tuners. Even after restarting, it still was confused. There needs to be a way to fix this problem. Allow us to clear up bogus tuner assignments / audit tuners.

Based on the information you've provided, the BOLT may be recording three shows and using Live TV at the same time or one of the Minis may be using the tuners. To release the tuners on the Mini, please press the TiVo button on the Mini's remote twice.
