I just upgraded my home internet to "AT&T fixed wireless" from satellite. Fixed wireless uses LTE from the cell tower. Since the change, the TiVo's will not connect to the TiVo service. I temporarily switched back to the satellite, and they connected. If I run the network diagnostics, both the TCP port test and DNS test show successful. What does the TiVo need that it's not getting to be able to connect through fixed wireless?
It appears the fixed wireless is using it's own internal network, so I don't have an outside address directly on the internet, i.e. my WAN address appears to be non-routable, 10.XX.XX.XX. I don't know if that makes a difference to the TiVo or not.
On the other hand, I connected the Bolt to my hotspot on my phone, which is verizon, and it was able to connect that way. This could be my plan B if all else fails, it's just a pain in the butt.
Thanks.
edit: I am able to connect just fine with the YouTube app on the bolt, so the internet connection works, just not to the TiVo service.
