I am building a new house and am trying to decide if I want to keep directTv or go with comcast. It's easier and cheaper for me to use comcast but their DVR sucks at the moment. I have read that they are partnering with Tivo but then I read somewhere else that the deal fell apart. Can someone give me the most current status of comcast/tivo relationship

The deal is still in effect and, by all accounts, on track for a 2nd half 2006 delivery. This information is from TiVo's Nov. 29, 2005 earnings call. There is, however, no guarantee that you are in an area that Comcast will offer the TiVo system to.
