Time difference for 60 Minutes on East vs West coast tonight?

I was looking at the guide today during football and noticed that 60 Minutes is scheduled for 90 min on the east vs 2 hrs on the west coast. What are we getting that you guys on the east coast aren't going to be seeing?

So perhaps "60 Minutes" is not the most appropriate title they could have given it.
They did this last week, this week, and next week is also scheduled as such.

I guess it's their way of dealing with football overruns, and it seems to be working.

No complaints about CBS Sunday shows being cut off for a couple weeks now.

I am thrilled with CBS finally doing something about Sunday nights and football overruns. I really hope this continues through football season. Is Amazing Race coming back to its 8:00 (Eastern) time slot, and if so, when?

It looks like they are only doing it when they know there'll be a 30 minute overrun, double header days in particular.

Anything less than 30 minutes will be just like last season.

Amazing Race can't come back until Viva Laughlin gets a couple airings and is cancelled. ;)

OK, so this 2 hour thing is caused by sports? I was wondering why they changed their format. I really enjoyed the article on Bruce Springsteen.

Oh, right, Viva Laughlin. Couldn't remember what was normally on at 8:00 on Sundays but I knew I would have noticed if this was going to be the regular schedule on Sunday nights.

So I guess the question is, assuming that Viva Laughlin doesn't get cancelled, will they alternate between V.L. on Fox's doubleheader weekends and an extended 60 Minutes on CBS's doubleheader weekends? Even if they do, I'll probably end up getting the late game on the non-doubleheader weeks.
As far as we've been told, this is the last week that the 90 & 120 minute episodes are planned. But in our biz, anything and everything is subject to change.
It was only partially rerun content right? The Springsteen interview was new?
The Springsteen interview was new. He was on to plug the new album that came out today.
By any chance, has CBS front-loaded their share of double-header weeks so that they'd have only a few remaining after Viva Laughlin starts? I think last night was the first time that Cold Case and Shark got pushed back, but once there's 2 full hours of programming scheduled from 7:00 - 9:00 (Eastern), they'll get pushed back any time we get a late game on CBS. It just seems like we've had a lot of late games on CBS so far this season (haven't gone past 7:30 until last night though), and we (D.C. affiliate) typically don't unless it's a CBS double-header, or it's the Ravens or Redskins.
For some reason I don't like the 120 minute 60 Minutes. I know I could just watch half now and half later, but I like having only 2-3 stories to reflect on for the week. Plus I don't like how they are bringing in all of these other correspondents like Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper, or any other reporters. Just keep to the regulars.
