and is panthro really dead?
Cartoon Network and the next new episode is on at 8:30pm EST on Friday night.when and where is this on?
In the original, Thunderra was their home planet, not a kingdom like in the new series. The Thundercats we know escaped as it was being destroyed. They were put into suspension chambers for the trip to Third Earth, but Lion-O's didn't work properly. So he aged from a child to a adult on the trip while everyone else stayed the same age.I only saw bits and pieces of the original when my little brother watched it, so memory is fuzzy.
Liked what I saw, but I thought LionO was older in the original. And didn't more Thundarians survive? Like the older cleric guy?
IIRC, that's not quite true. Lion-O was told before the trip that, while the suspension chambers greatly reduce the rate of aging, they do get older (wasn't that the main reason Jaga chose not to go into suspension?), and Lion-O was by far the youngest, so his aging was the most obvious. In the original, Thunderra was their home planet, not a kingdom like in the new series. If that was the case, Wily-Kit and Wily-Kat, who were around the same age as Lion-O, would have aged as well.IIRC, that's not quite true. I found myself last week, wondering if the Berbils would be introduced in the new series. I'm either psychic or pathetic.Robear Berbils tonight
