What is going on?

It says "OK/select" to play what you recorded. Why am I getting something I didn't record?

Pre-roll ads. I saw the Unsolved Mysteries one yesterday. It played for a short time, then my recorded program started playing.

There are at least two threads about it.

Not sure, but I was recording a bunch of stuff I didn't want and having to delete it, on channels I never heard of. What's amazing is the antenna doesn't even work. I'd have to move it.

You can check if Suggestions is set to on for your box under TiVo Central on your box; if you don't want suggested shows to record, set the setting to off. (Under the TE3 user interface, the setting can be found, under TiVo Central, at: Settings & Messages/User Preferences/TiVo Suggestions.)

It is off. I don't remember whether I had already turned it off.
