I am a football fan. However, bring on the Fringe of the NYC market I sometimes don't see the Giants or Jets for one reason or another. There was no logical reason the Giants game was to be blacked out. I wasted my time making sure the Fox app was gonna have the game. Sure enough the problem was TiVo guide info. I bumped into the game by accident . How often does this have to happen before it is fixed? I almost drove to my sister's house (45 minutes) to watch the game. Thanks TiVo!!!

I was confused too. I live 5 miles from MetLife stadium and couldn't understand why the guide for WNYW said that the Baltimore game would be on. I figured it had to be a mistake. Sure enough the Giants game is airing as expected.

The 1 PM Fox game here in Philly was not listed as Eagles at Dolphins in the guide (it had Ravens Niners) even though that was the correct game. First time I've had it happen to me.

Ever since I got Tivos in the early 2000's I've always checked strange listings with zap2it online. There were/are times when the cable co and Tivo guides were both wrong. Zap2it is data driven by gracenote and updates frequently and quickly. Guide data is useful but it should never be trusted completely, check it as you would any other data on a periodic basis.

I routinely do the same.

I can't image anyone not 'confirming' NFL prior to 'day of game' which game will be broadcast by their local FOX/CBS for Sundays. That seems very foolish.

The 49er game was changed by the NFL to a national game (hoping for ratings bonanza). This allowed local markets to air it instead of the usual conference games.

Amazing Tivo got it right because it was a last minute change.

Not a national game.
1:00 games can not be.
This was the % to country:
SF-Bal 58
GB-NYG 18
Phi-Mia 6
TB-Jax 5
