You can hack the HDVR2 to do MRV, but it won't do MRV with a 540 series unless you install an EPROM in the 540 and hack it too.
Out of the box, the 540 will do MRV with other standalone TiVos.

You don't need to prom-mod that model. Just the R10 DirecTV TiVo, and any Standalone with a TSN beginning with 5 or higher needs a PROM mod to hack.OH!T:V0! said:does a SD-DVR120 EPROM?
