BALTIMORE An actress who appeared on the HBO series "The Wire" has been charged with conspiring to sell heroin and was one of dozens arrested in early morning raids across Baltimore, authorities said Thursday.

I liked Snoop on The Wire. I recently saw her on Anthony Bourdain's show. She claimed to have houses in New York, Baltimore and Miami. I remember wondering how an unskilled, tertiary role actor from a cable series could afford that property. I guess now I know how. At least she wasn't a hit woman in real life.

She went to jail for second degree murder as a youth, too.

She was an actress. Maybe just playing herself but they gave her lines and she did what the director told her to do.
