OMG, hot men in tuxedos. I LOVE this show.

So mommy witch is gonna kill them all? Yikes!

I'm glad Rebekah didn't get Matt killed. Can't believe I said that, but yeah, Matt is kinda growing on me.

Caroline was great with Klaus. Just as I thought she was going to cave, she goes off on him. Good girl!

Elijah breaks my heart. He's always being betrayed or lied to. I wanted her to not let him take that drink so effing bad. As much as I detest Klaus I'd put up with him for Elijah. Gah. Why do they have to make it an all or nothing now?? I'm betting momma has more up her sleeve too. Maybe killing all the originals with the link will actually kill ALL vampires and the scooby gang can once again find out that Elena screwed up. So the new thing will be finding a way to break the link so they can't be killed.

Thank you show for giving Damon his balls back. Finally! It was like a light went off in his head realizing he'll never get the girl and that he's wasting his time with petty human emotions. I kinda dig that he and Rebekah hooked up. Except that I cannot get past the fact that Damon is always getting Stefan's seconds. Blech.

Congrats writers, you actually managed to make me WANT Stefan and Elena to kiss in that scene. As much as I hate puppy dog Stefan and love cocky, not giving a crap Stefan, I felt their connection in this episode. They had me wondering if he would give in and then I realized I wanted him to. Shocked me! So I guess this means we are on our way to a reconciliation with them, slow as it might go. Damon never stood a real shot. I hope he sees that now and MOVES ON!

Tyler's phone call also broke my heart. COME BACK before Klaus gets his fangs in your woman! She better not give in to this crap. I am so tired of seeing all the shipper comments for these two. Gross. You'll never ever ever ever get me to buy it or want it or watch it. I will FFW through their scenes if that happens.

I just wanted to point out that this is how I feel with Damon/Elena. It's interesting how many different perspectives a show can bring forth.

In Mystic Falls fashion, of course killing the linked Originals will require the death of the Doppelganger or something like that. Could Elena have possibly asked about THE REST of the plan?

I know I should feel that way about Damon/Elena and if it were any other actor playing the role, I'm quite sure I would. I cannot help it. Ian just does something to me as Damon that he just can't make himself irredeemable or unsympathetic in my eyes. Ridiculous, I know.

They organized a formal ball on one day's notice?

Mama Original looks about five years older than Elijah.

I think Matt's the only person in Mystic Falls with a job and he doesn't even have health insurance. His life sucks.

These are the least scary vampires this side of Count Chocula. They'd probably beat the Twilight vampires in a street fight but that's about it.

I'm losing interest in this show. I'm sick of the bickering Originals already. Maybe I'll let a couple of episodes pile up.

And the first thing I thought of when they said all the originals would be linked for death was "uh oh...photoshopgrl is gonna be bummed!

These threads are sometimes even better than the show!

I think this was asked before but I'm still wondering how Mrs. Lockwood became mayor. Was there an election or were the writers in "Nobody'll notice" mode and just made her the mayor?

Where was Bonnie this episode? You'd think Mama Original would have made sure she got an invitation as thanks for freeing her and as a member of the witchy sisterhood.

I think when the mayor died she stepped up as interim mayor. I assume we are either not in election season or the counsel has appointed her the new perm mayor.

Also just watched again and from previews for next week...

I am going to be very upset if they make Elijah out to be a bad guy in the sense that the scoobies WANT to kill him. It sure looks like he's going that route even though I cannot see him actually wanting Elena dead. I think it's a bluff because he knows they will never allow it to happen. Problem is, now he's no longer an ally. Boooo.

Didn't the mom say "you must have many questions" when Elena entered the room. Did she even ask ONE?? They make her so dim I have to wonder why all these vamps are so gaga over her. Must be mystical doppelganger-ness.

I agree that Elena was rather stupid to not ask questions. It's no wonder that everyone thinks she needs protection. She just rushes into everything. She HAS to be a blonde.

She practically blurted out her theory, "You're planning on killing the originals aren't you?" Luckily she was correct, if she was wrong I could see mommy witch putting the hurt on her. Elana is definitely lucky her doppelganger mojo attracts vampires to try to swoon her, she is sure dumb.
