Wow.... just wow!! I about came out of my skin twice in this show. 1 - when Bob was laying in that crate were the dead guy was suppose to be. 2 - when the car bomb went off at the beginning.

I got a new perspective on the Col's wife. I suddenly don't like her at all... not even a little bit. Seems pretty selfish to me.

i'm unclear..they were or werent in that place the inquisition said they were? I'm assuming the orders prove they were in A when the other fake ones say they are in B but wanted to be sure

I thought they did have specific orders to go to that country, and kill the minister. It just turns out that the mission wasn't really from the president... but more of a 'favor' for the people in power.

Thats why the Col. called it off.

So when he says he doesn't have this order, he is theoretically telling the truth.

I was going to go with "Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come."

And it's all I could think of throughout the episode.

Oh, and I don't believe for a second that Hector is actually turning against the team.

He changed after she gave him the code from Mac so I think it was all an act.

1) Everytime I saw Jonas I kept thinking "F--- you, Jobu. I do it myself." Plus, it looks like Jonas has lost a bit of weight - which is a good thing since he had a bit of a gut last year, and it just didn't seem right on a freakin' D-Force guy.

2) No way did Hector turn on the team. This is just another gambit.

3) Any speculations on what is the deal with all the corpses on the ocean floor? And why they weren't covered with crabs? That would have to be some pretty strong fabric to not transmit the odor of decaying flesh, yet Jonas was able to slice through it pretty easily.

4) Was that the same CIA hottie from last year? She seemed different to me - like she had some work done.

A great start for the season indeed.

I'm also not buying the 'we just want to know where our husbands are' pleadings of the wives. They want to inject themselves into the investigation further, to snoop around and try and control the situation.

And that whole 'there are 6 families who have controlled this country from the start' bit irked me somewhat. It's too crude and unrefined for Mamet's style. Why would she just blurt that out like that, if it's been a big secret for over 200 years? Hopefully they're not going for the big conspiracy season arc, just to keep up with other themes in other shows.

Yeah, and I can't believe her character is dead! Those folks need to work on keeping the "hotness" alive, on 'The Unit." It would've been nice if she could have been placed in a more permanent role.
