And it's back!

So, nothing too earth shattering here. We knew that Robert California would be a regular, but that he became CEO instead of branch manager. I guess what most of us didn't know was that Andy is the new manager.

Episode was OK.. Funny that the Scranton crew is once again a little late to an Internet meme. On the list, I liked how Creed was "old man". Only person not listed by name. Why is Gabe there? I thought Jo sent him back to Florida.

Called Andy being made the new manager and thought it was funny how Robert got to be CEO.
I miss Kathy Bates as Jo but Spader's California promises to be interesting.

I miss hot Pam. Wow, she is large.
The actress is pregnant in real life.
We cracked up at several bits.

Very good start.

At least they aren't as late to planking as were to "parkour". :)

I think everyone who didn't like this episode should re-watch the third scene with Andy and Dwight when they are talking about planking, slow-mo around the time that Dwight flips over the table, and

Shove it up your butt!
I loved this episode, but maybe because I had low expectations without Michael's return. Dwight and the planking scenes had me laughing! :D
Effing IR blasters and their channel changing incompetence.
Hopefully this is available to view online?

That tends to happen when you grown another human being inside you. :p
I loved the dirty stripe down Erin's face and clothes.

Not sure I like Andy as the new manager. We'll see if it presents enough "funny".

I can't help wondering if they did that to keep Ed Helms aboard, now that he's had some success in feature films.

Unless you are Angela.

;)

His character getting a promotion on a tv show is going to keep him around? I guess it could if that fake promotion comes with more $$$$ in real life...

Awesome - you got me!
Any chance that Angela's kid is Dwight's? I'm assuming that becomes an issue later on.

I liked Pam's suggestion that they name the baby Michael Scott Halpert. :)

I wonder how gone Steve Carrell really is. IOW, I'm wondering if we don't see the very special sweeps week episodes with Michael & Holly's wedding, etc.

I think it's highly unlikely that it is the Senator's (State Senator!).

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
The best part of the episode was the planking bit and Spader's character.

They were mostly all planking "incorrectly" though if my friends' planking is any indicator. They lie straight with an object supporting their upper torso and lower legs. That's quite hard to hold. Supporting your waist makes it ridiculously easy.

Planking does not require a lack of support along the body. Your friends are engaging in some sort of extreme planking. The location is what makes planking planking.

I'm pretty sure Jan is gone. Michael and Holly's wedding could happen though I doubt it.

Yeah, that's what I meant. :)

It seems you are right; but given the core workout that is involved in the method I listed above, it "feels" like that's the only proper way since it closely resembles a plank position in terms of yoga/fitness.

Is that your thing now?
