I didn't notice when I watched the episode last night. But I don't see who else it could be. (Well, perhaps an identical twin.)

If it is, then good catch! And it does look like him. Though I thought you meant the man on the far left that looks like someone else - an ex ER doc....then I looked to the right and saw who you meant.

Considering it's not verified and the description says "A parody of my life", I don't think it is.

I had to google "Grindr account".

34 thousand followers. I dunno, could be legit.

This one (@stevecarell1) has 9K. This one (@SteveCarel) has less than 4K. This one (@MichaelScott63) has 14k.

Hard to tell. Rainn Wilson has over 2 million followers so maybe all of these are fake. Or they are all real and he has some real issues.

I've seen a few fake accounts for sports analysts (e.g. "breaking" some trade) and they usually don't have 14K followers.

I'm not sure how you made the logic leap. We're talking about accounts being fake, not followers.

@rainnwilson is a verified account. @stevecareII is not.

I don't know anything about verifying, but typically a fake account has few followers. 34K is quite a bit, even if it's nowhere near Rainn's 2M+.

There have been a huge number of fakes on twitter. Many of them with thousands of followers. Twitter now will validate the accounts of celebrities and on their page you will see a green check mark with the words "verified account". If a celebrity's account doesn't have that then there is a very very good chance that it is a fake. If they also have the word "parody" in their description then they probably prefer that you refer to the account as a parody rather than a fake.

I've always wondered what has to happen for verification. Anyone know?

Kind of obvious by the latest tweets that it's not Steve on twitter.

I loved the ending where Kevin's team thought they were going to do well at trivia and they were getting schooled at the other bar.

I also loved Gabe "flushing" Dwight. Hilarious that Gabe works MWF at one location and TTh at the other location.

I believe there's a company that actually works with the celebrities and Twitter to certify authenticity.

So, was it him or not?

Doesn't look like him to me. Hair thinning too much and nose not big enough. Slight resemblance at best.

Not only that, but if you hate flying like he does, having to go between Tallahassee and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on a daily basis isn't going to make you like it any better -- you have to take at least one "commuter" jet, and the most direct routing involves two (in the form of two US Airways Express flights with a plane change at Charlotte).
