!!
Hmmmm, is it sarcasm or genuine appreciation? Hmmmmm....I was excited to finally get 20.2 and even more thrilled when I was able to force the upgrade early (just by a day of course).
The new guide is silky smooth and the programming is awesome. The nested folder look is very clean ..etc.
I love it!!
Did you notice the background in the SDUI is now not animated and blue instead of orange? That's a major difference right there.I still use the SD menus so maybe I don't see much of a difference.
That's actually been there before.BetaMark said:20.2 gave us a cool surprise tonight when we watched the Chuck 2-hour series finale. When there are multiple episodes within a folder, there's now an option to play them non-stop and in sequence. Worked flawlessly... TiVo ROCKS!
It has but I think that it is more clear now than in the past. I like the new 20.2 interface with one minor exception, no on screen clock in the lower right corner is possible under the HD interface. It is really a bummer now I need to find a stupid clock to put near my TV as it was something I had come to rely on.That's actually been there before.
I do appreciate streaming but frankly that should have been done a long time ago and was probably developed because of the directv contract since their equipment does stream and a lot of cable companies stream. Simple things are now screwed up. Last night I went to the guide and hit record on a program on channel 505 to set a season pass for it. The new software wanted to schedule the pass for the same show at the same time on an antenna channel 35-1 that I dont even think comes in. Fix the stuff you broke Tivo and make the HD interface faster. and FYI Tivo its still SD menus when you look at recordings on another Tivo. You still have a LOT of work left. Nice effort but still lacking and VERY VERY LATE. I really want this to be THE BEST product out there. Earn our money Tivo.Tough croud.
Appreciate it for what it is folks.
I do.
Great stuff!
Thanks for 20.2 TiVo!
