Well that explains why my Lego Masters was a news program...

 

No official word on what happens next. Fox and Masked Singer have been silent since they claimed MS would be on after the game and it wasn’t.

 

Well, damn! I set out to watch The Masked Singer and it's a couple other things. I figured it was safe since I'm on Pacific time and the game I saw scheduled was hours before this.

Is there a way to watch the episode, or at least find out what happened? This really angers me as it's one of my favorite silly shows that allows me to enjoy myself and forget about my problems.

TiVo guide shows the 10/19 episode as Andrew Lloyd Webber Night which is what it was and mine is recording.

Also showing as being on 10/22.

 

My first step is to see what they've posted on Twitter:

"Whoa, whoa, fam... We're SO sorry about the delay. The episode [of Masked Singer] is still airing in Canada, so please watch out for spoilers. We'll let you know when you can watch the episode ASAP. " --[twitter for Masked Singer]

So, they'll let us know. Then they tweeted,
"Please forgive us... We're sorry we missed you tonight, but we’ll see you next week on FOX TV."

I'll keep an eye out for any double-up night or bumping other shows. Otherwise, assume next week will pick up right where they left off, for both Masked Singer and LEGO Masters.

The same thing that happened last week is happening this week. Chances are better that the game will finish on time.

 

My guide shows an MLB Playoff game at 1:30pm, not affecting any of the prime time programming - hopefully, and assuming my guide data isn't wrong.

 

The game is supposed to be over in 10 minutes, according to the guide, but it is just the bottom of the 6th, no outs. 3.5-4 innings left. It is going to run way late. Again.

 

That explains why I have no Lego Masters to watch this week... it was supposed to be last week's episode though the guide actually showed that CTV was going to air the show the week after. But something happened and it got East New York instead (Canadian stations pick up shows across all networks, so a mix of FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS shows appear on all the major Canadian networks).
