I thought this episode was so-so. The Child eating the eggs was funny, as was Frog Lady using the vocalizer.

But on the whole, meh. It didn’t move the story forward very much.

I enjoyed and LOL'd a few times. Especially when he tricked the kidnapper with his jetpack.

And I though for a sec the Child was going to be attacked by a facehugger.

I expect there to be one or two stinkers but did it have to be the second episode of the new season?

Is this the only sci-fi show without some form of a default universal translator? I prefer my aliens to speak English.

I wish there were more cameos from other characters but I didn't think this episode was a stinker. Baby Yoda had me in stitches over the eggs and those spiders were seriously making me itch while watching.

When they first showed Baby Yoda looking at the eggs I said they were going to get eaten. My SO laughed out loud when they eventually did..

I liked this one. This series is more like a Saturday morning serial, each episode is an adventure. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and if you keep waiting for story advancement each week, it's going to disappoint you. It's a journey, not a destination.

Well, if it's a journey you expect it to be going someplace. It's more of an aimless meandering.

Yeah, but really, nothing happened to move the journey along in this episode. Which is OK. We saw last season that they're perfectly happy doing episodes where nothing moves the journey along.

I didn't like Baby Yoda eating the eggs. The first one, ok. That got a couple yuks but after that, I didn't think it was funny. Even worse, Mando knew he was eating the eggs and was too dumb to secure the lid or put the container on a shelf or something. And Fish Lady apparently can't count else she should have broken her foot off in Baby Yoda's butt.

Even more ridiculous, Mando can repair his crash landed spaceship with a welding torch? Did he also have some duct tape, chewing gum and some coconuts?

I thought Baby Yoda was eating the eggs to preserve them. I was thinking something would happen to the incubator and all the eggs would die but BY would throw up the eggs saving the day. That still might happen.

The frightening part of TCF is that I totally accept that you might have such data, and that it's documented.
