A not very good one since all the test subjects are dead.Lots of action. Moth Gideon finally returns.. Baby Yoda steals some kids' cookies. What sort of army is Gideon building?
But he has the warehouse full of...killer robots? Suits of armor? I couldn't quite tell...A not very good one since all the test subjects are dead.
No!!! Not another droid army!!! Lol.But he has the warehouse full of...killer robots? Suits of armor? I couldn't quite tell...
Mmmm... tasty, thin mints are.
That was my guess. Are they trying to clone Palpatine?
Look more like Vaders. Why would you want an army of palpatines? Are they trying to clone Palpatine?
Oh yeah!Good episode.
Gina Carano has some guns on her.
I haven't re-watched it yet, but I agree 100% with everything you said here. And I'm even more in awe knowing how the show is put together. I hope they're putting together another season of Gallery because I would watch that as well.I gotta say, I've loved The Mandalorian, but this episode was the first one that had me so thrilled with its story that I went back later in the evening and watched it a 2nd time AND IT WAS JUST AS FANTASTIC!
There was a lot of world building going on in the background and as several critics have written it feels like it was prep for a spin-off, a spin-off that I would most definitely watch even with my issues regarding Gina Carano's personal views. It was also action packed, between the trench chase (gee that looked familiar..) and then the Razor Crest saving the day (... feels familiar) the chase through the base... (... familiar?); however it was an example of using those SW cinematic shortcuts in a way that helped remind us of just how good this show can be.
I'm still just in awe of what they pulled off in this episode.
