Turned on my Fire TV last night and saw a box about Grand Tour. I knew there was going to be more Grand Tour specials, but hadn't heard anything else about it since season 3 ended.

The Fire TV shows it as season 4 episode 1.

Yup. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The choppy seas at the end looked truly miserable.

I loved when Clarkson would buzz by May. The first time especially when all the wine bottles spilled out. I laughed out loud pretty hard.

Good episode. The boats were good stand-ins for cars. It was particularly interesting to me because my wife and I did a week long cruise down the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers earlier this year. Everything was very familiar. Those boats must have been quite the sensation up and down the rivers. In our week I think I saw just one western style motor boat.

I enjoyed this episode and I'm quite surprised that they didn't edit or redub Clarkson's Top Gear flub at the end.

I also enjoyed the episode. I was confused that they bleeped so many curse words but then left an F-world in there very prominently unbleeped. What's the purpose of bleeping only some?

I started watching Lochdown. They got to the part where they try to drive big cars, down small streets. For some reason, this annoyed me and I shut it off. They've done that gimmick like 100 times. I don't know why, but it just really annoyed me. They're just doing the same things over and over again. I'll go back and finish it this weekend.

Great to have them back! I thought it was a perfectly fine episode.

I watched and was only somewhat bored, I did enjoy that they couldn't treat the locals as the punchline of their jokes, that's a trope they use that always ticks me off.
Most of the other tropes in play have gotten old and tired, and with it being so focused on them the tropes become more at the front of the presentation.

I hate to say it, but I think their time has passed and they have not moved with it.
