I am a big fan of the Contender and was not expecting a third season...

But today I ran into this:

OK... I found a press statement here:

From the statement:

"the fights will be televised with no editing on either ESPN or ESPN 2 after the show sometime. "

I've always hated all the editing down and slow motion effects in the fights...

Has he seen any of the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) shows? The Ultimate Fighter is set to start back up again in Septemeber. There is also quite a bit of combat sports programming on the versus network.
