Shouldn't people from the future be smart enough to know NOT to go back and tease the NTAC agents that you are trying to hide your real identity from? If the "Bill Gates" character never showed up in the parking lot, Tom and Diana would have simply remained suspicious, but by showing up and saying The Marked are actually "heroes", all he did was confirm their suspicions.

What I can't figure out is if Curtis Peck was bought off or not.

I do like the plot twist though ... Tom is the last name on the list from to take promicin, and he now appears to be a sleeper agent of The Marked, and he doesn't even know it.

I also liked that Shawn healed his opponent. I should have anticipated that, but didn't see it coming. I'm thinking that if news comes out that Shawn healed him, that will help Shawn's campaign, but if the news stays quiet, the other guy may get a bounce for a miraculous cure. The real question now is will his opponent change or not?

I think it'll be more amusing when they all discover the Nazi-like scenario eventually occurs because Shawn won the election.

As to the rich guy showing up to gloat, that's a classic behavior of someone who believes they're better than someone else. They can't just leave it alone. So that fits with the storyline.

I wonder if the Robert Shaftoe/marine character (from the JFK film) was a reference to the Shaftoe marines in Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon/Baroque Cycle characters?

I still love the "original recipe" vs. "extra crispy" stuff.

I agree. Even though the battlelines were drawn before (that there were two groups fighting it out from the future) it became even clearer here. And we really don't know who the good guys are for sure, though they're leading us to believe it is the 4400. Still Kyle strikes me as never being right so who knows?

I really loved the Pope complaining about having to be gone at Easter for the meeting. That had me laughing. The acting in those "movies" was so bad, it was indescribable. Even Plan 9 from Outer Space wasn't that bad.

His behavior toward the man changed: he warned him, he's watching him, etc. Plus, he told Colier about him, who probably did have him attacked.

As I said last week, I'm pretty sure this is what last season was meant to be, if Billy Campbell hadn't gone sailing...as it stands, last season was just a holding action until he got back and they could return to the story.

There was a small detail that is inconsequential but that did catch my off-guard...when the director was talking about the meeting in 2005, he said it happened in Tunis, not Tunisia...

Tunis is the correct name...later, the NTAC people all said Tunisia...

small detail...not sure why the writers wrote the script that way...

I was thinking the same thing. One thing that confused me about this theory however was that she had Shawn heal her 'father' recently. Maybe that was just a rouse to make her seem sympathetic to the 4400's but I would think the Marked wouldn't want to use or benefit from 4400 abilities, but maybe I am giving them too much credit.

The acting in this show has been awful since episode 1. Tom is just terrible. Still, I watch every episode and enjoy the plot lines quite a bit.

What I liked most about this episode was the the interplay between Tom and Diana. One would say something funny and the other would react in a natural way... by laughing. IIRC it was the first time we saw them behaving like that.
