Terra Nova S01E03 – "What Remains" - 10/10/11

Anyone know a good torrent place or know if this will be re-broadcasted? 90% of mine was cutoff due to baseball running late on the East Coast.

I missed most of the recording too, although the end of the baseball game was pretty exciting.

I'm wondering if Fox airs repeats of this on other cable networks that they own or will it show up on their web site at some point...

I had the same issue, however I got lucky and noticed it when I went to watch it at about 9:30pm and saw things were goofed up. I record House too so Terra Nova which started at 8:52 recorded mostly through House. And I manually recorded the 10pm news to catch all of House. PITA for sure...

Good way to start off a new show. by having it overrun / missed because of sports. Why they don't alter the schedule for sports is beyond me.

Some interesting tidbits in this one, like the fact that the sixers are communicating separately, and not just when the portal is open, and that they are probably still sending people that are allied to the sixers, since they can influence who gets sent. So anyone could be a sixer spy, from any of the pilgrimages.

Ah, crap! I extended Terra Nova when I saw the game going over, but I forgot to extend House, so I don't have that. I wonder when they will re-run it.

Ditto here. Missed all but the first 6 minutes or so. When I checked late last night, TiVo didn't know about any rebroadcasts.

I like the show, it has flaws but it's easy and entertaining and my 12yo daughter likes to watch it with me

I had non baseball related picture problems on DTV, picturing breaking up etc. Anyone else ?

I checked the guide, and no repeats were scheduled. I guess I will have "use" the "net" to acquire it elsewhere.

Yup! I turned to TN shortly after 7PM CDT, and saw sports, so I knew it was going to be messed up. I don't normally watch House, but manually recorded it this time. I hope this doesn't become the norm, ala 60 Minutes. :down:

In fairness, they did allow plenty of time for the game...it was in the 11th inning when Terra Nova should have started.

The problem here is with MLB and its endless tie-breakers, not Fox. If the game is tied after nine, they should just have the pitchers resolve it with a fist fight. That would have ended it long before 7 Central!

Since current episode spoilers are OK: If you missed it, here's all you need to know about the first, oh, 55 minutes or so:

Strange medical outbreak in a remote station away from the main colony; causes loss of memory from current to some number of years back. Hot wife forgets her husband but remembers the boyfriend, uses her awesome medical knowledge to find a cure, saves the day, kthxbai.

If you find an "alternate source", just watch the last five minutes.

(obviously, I'm oversimplifying, but honestly, most of this episode will not go down in history as great writing OR acting)

I still like the show, though, and there's still great potential, if they'll USE it.

Or just watch the previews for next week. Those couple of minutes are better than anything in this whole episode!

Those of you who didn't notice the baseball overage and thus missed the episode should count yourself lucky. This was another BBOS episode. I should have watched the previews for next week to decide whether to continue, but didn't. Two really bad episodes in a row. This show is on our chopping block and will be gone if the next episode is this bad.

I enjoyed it, easy to watch and not too taxing.

WTH? The high sheriff just locks the red shirt in with the raptor? Unless I missed it, they didn't even mention him after Dr. hottie found the cure.

Maybe they're not 85M years in the past. Maybe they ended up on Pandora.

I wish they would drop that Jr. High crap between the dad and the ex-boyfriend. It's almost like watching a Saturday morning show.

Not only do we have to endure mega-sappy romance between doctor-wife and cop-husband, we also get not one but two teenage crushes, acting all awkward and embarrassed and fumbling. Crimeny.

And who didn't see that the cop's cold would be the cure to the memory virus the first time he sneezed? This show is just lame.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought this episode was pretty much crap.

Don't see much of a future for this show.
